The world of indie gaming can be so strange and compelling. While you will hear a lot about specific indie games as coverage gets picked up by gaming media (like for Papers, Please or Spelunky), there are hundreds upon thousands of indie games released each year that go unnoticed. That’s where RockLeeSmile comes in. He provides informative first-impressions videos on countless of said indie titles, looking at the artistic merit of what they try to provide and brings that unique view to the Youtube Gaming community.

What games RockLeeSmile covers are often bizarre, mysterious and genuine attempts at breaking the mold. For example, the embedded video takes a look at “Taquito Tower,” a survival dungeon crawler with randomly-generated floors that you must traverse. With only his wits and his taquitos against a horde of Earthbound-esque monsters, RockLeeSmile introduced to me what may the weirdest game I’ve ever seen. He’s at ~37,350 subscribers as of posting, so make sure to join that list if you want to see more odd indie gaming content.
