GDC: Developers Prefer PS4 to Xbox One

It looks like it isn’t just consumers who prefer the PlayStation 4 to Xbox One.

The latest results from a poll conducted by the Game Developers Conference have been released, and the data shows that, of the 2,600 polled, nearly 20% of North American game developers are hoping that their next game will release on the PS4. The Xbox One, while not as far behind as the Wii U, only had approximately 17% of the votes.

Overall nearly 53% are hoping that their games make it to PC, showing what platform the gaming industry is leaning towards at this time. Of course, if the upcoming next-gen console game releases turn out to be stellar, that number of developers hoping to get their games on the consoles from Microsoft and Sony could sky rocket.
