WWE 2K24 getting a Bray Wyatt edition
By Brian Allen
The WWE Games X account has been teasing something Wyatt Family related, and now it has revealed all the details.
In an earlier piece, I speculated the big reveal would be something along these lines. This was around the time last year when we got a Bad Bunny Edition of WWE 2K23. The superstar rapper was one of the best celebrity wrestlers we've ever had, so I wasn't mad at all that WWE capitalized on his presence.
But this Bray Wyatt Edition is going to hit different. From the moment he hit the main roster, Bray showed a creativity that connected with the WWE Universe. Whether being a creepy Cape Fear- inspired cult leader, a mentally disturbed kids show host, or his alter ego The Fiend, you just never knew what he was going to do next.
He left us way too soon from a heart attack suffered in 2023, at just 36 years of age. One of the things I love about video games is that our sports heroes never truly have to leave us. I can fire up MLB The Show and patrol the outfield with Willie Mays. If I want Otto Graham to lead my Madden NFL squad, I can make that happen. And if I want to taunt my opponent as Bray Wyatt's final Fiend creation, I will soon be able to do that too.
Fans have been eagerly anticipating the official presence of Bo Dallas as Uncle Howdy also. The Wyatt Sicks have been crushing it on Monday Night Raw, so there's a lot of hype for this new edition. Of course, Halloween is the perfect time to unleash the Wyatt Sicks on an unsuspecting WWE 2K community.
