The 50 Best Xbox One Games Right Now
Best Xbox One Games List – #34 NBA 2K15
Developer: Visual Concepts
Publisher: 2K Sports
Xbox One Release Date: October 7, 2014
Despite now having a competitor in EA, there’s no stopping the brilliance of basketball simulation that is the NBA 2K series. NBA 2K15 takes the series to new heights on the Xbox One, with changes to MyCareer, facial scanning and a coaching satisfaction system bringing more immersion to the series.
The visuals have never looked better, with athletes sporting some of the best representation yet. It helps when the camera direction for play makes the gameplay experience feel real to life for a TNT or ABC broadcast. Ball handling, bounce physics, and offensive/defensive strategies have been improved for the first title developed with 8th generation consoles in mind. Single player and offline multiplayer shine equally, while online play could do with a bit of tuning. Overall, it’s the greatest gameplay replication of professional basketball available (until NBA 2K16 shows up, hopefully).
