In comes Metalhead Software with Super Mega Baseball, an Indie arcade baseball game that plays around with the silliness of making a baseball game without the restrictions or required seriousness of dealing with professional baseball properties.

Like an advanced Backyard Baseball, Super Mega Baseball brings oddity and humor to the diamond. Players throw pitches with pronounced break, diving attempts slow down time like it’s The Matrix, and the rules of the game are decidedly truncated to keep the action going quickly. The controls are easy to pick up and learn, ditching the depth and complexity of a full baseball game and making it accessible to most. It’s not going to win any beauty pageants, but Super Mega Baseball serves a niche sports game genre very serviceably.
