It’s surprising that it took more than a decade for the Luigi’s Mansion series to churn out a sequel, but here we are with Dark Moon. This time, gameplay takes place over five separate mansions, with Luigi equipped with just a flashlight to stun ghosts and the Poltergust 5000 used to suck ghosts away. This sequel is more mission-based this time, tasking Luigi with collecting items and treasure, plus defeating tougher bosses, to obtain a higher score. The added ScareScraper multiplayer mode brought bonus competitive gameplay element that added replayability that wasn’t previously available.

It’s just like the original Luigi’s Mansion but expanded, to add depth to functionality while maintaining that familiar style of play. It’s goofy, but lovably goofy!
