Combining the story aspects of an adventure title with the logical brain teasers of a puzzle game, Professor Layton and the Azran Legacy takes Layton and the gang to exotic locations around the world to restore the aforementioned Legacy and bring peace once again. Across several chapters, you must search for clues throughout the game’s numerous environments using the 3DS stylus, then solve over 500 separate logic questions, often using reasoning and 3D spatial awareness similar to that of an IQ test to solve the problems.

Without spoiling the overarching story, it shouldn’t matter if Azran Legacy is your first experience in the series or the sixth; it has a way of carrying its wholesome, inquisitive and emotional story with or without expertise in its style. Make sure to bring your thinking cap!
