When you’re a half-genie that loses her powers, you have to make do with what you have. So is the case for Shantae in Shantae and the Pirate’s Curse, who must adapt by using pirate weapons obtained throughout this new adventure in Sequin Land. The latest in the series sees Shantae use pistols to shoot at enemies/hit switches, use a hat to glide in the air, swing a scimitar to break down barriers, boots to charge dash attacks for and a cannon to perform air jumps. The more she brings to justice, the more gems she can afford in her quest to take down the nefarious Pirate Master.
