The music of the Final Fantasy series is some of the best in all of gaming, with a majority of thanks needing to go towards the great Nobuo Uematsu. It just makes sense to create a rhythm game set to its music, and the 221 base songs that come with Curtain Call certainly make it a worthy venture. Light on story, Theatrhythm Final Fantasy brings heaps of gameplay through several modes. Each mode focuses on tapping notes, sliding notes and holding notes with the stylus on the touch screen.

Field stages focus on getting to an ally in time, with successful strings of combos increasing in speed. Battle songs have teams of character fight against enemies and bosses, where based on Rhythm points and XP gained from excelling, allow you to improve team abilities to defeat foes. Versus mode was introduced, allowing players to face off against friends in song duels while daily features allow for special songs to earn extra points. There is just so many characters, songs and details about the Final Fantasy series involved that make Curtain Call a wonderful rhythm game.
