WWE 2K24's Pat McAfee and Show DLC is working, so what's in it?

Love it or hate it (and WWE fans have been vocal about the hate) Pat McAfee and his DAWGS are now in WWE 2K24. In addition to former NFL player and current talk show host/WWE commentator McAfee, new wrestlers in the DLC include Ty Schmit, Boston Connor, 11-year NFL vet A.J. Hawk, and nine-year vet Darius Butler. Here's a look at everything they bring to the "Toxic Table."

The football stars bring 15 new moves and a bunch of new taunts into the game, including the infamous Heisman trophy pose. Shout out to Desmond Howard. These moves and taunts are now also available for created superstars to use.

So far all the DLCs have added at least one new foreign object, and this time it's a football. Hawk and Butler will throw the football at opponents, while McAfee, a former punter, will kick it. Whether kicked or thrown, it functions like the game's other thrown objects and can be caught with the proper timing. There are several new crowd signs, including one imploring WWE to Put Pat in the Ring.

Each of the McAfee DLC characters also adds their card to the MyFACTION card-collecting mode that is required for all sports-ish games at this point. The locker code PATSMMERGIFT24 unlocks Amethyst Extreme Series Drew McIntyre, 2x Deluxe Punches & Promos Packs & 3x Faction Wars Tickets. As an apology for the numerous troubles surrounding the DLC, the code SECURETHEBAG will unlock 7,500 VC.

Schmit and Connor have their own special tag team entrance and victory celebration as the Toxic Table mentioned above. Unlike a lot of special characters in games, they're wearing actual ring gear. If you didn't know they were talk show hosts, they'd be easy to mistake for WWE superstars.

The action figure character styles have been a huge hit, and now it's the immortal Hulk Hogan and The Rock being immortalized in plastic. They are both really cool and slightly terrifying thanks to their unflinching plastic gaze.

The Pat McAfee DLC is $9.99 if purchased separately, or free with the game's season pass. The pass is included with the 40 Years of Wrestlemania Edition. Both it and the standard edition of WWE 2K24 are on sale on PlayStation through Aug. 14.
