WWE 2K24 MyRISE contains two career arcs, called Undisputed and Unleashed, that take players to the top of the men's and women's divisions in the WWE. To be successful in each storyline, though, you must create a superstar worthy of becoming the new face of the company. With so many options in Create a Superstar, from ring attire to fighting style, it is easy to get overwhelmed, especially once you get to the Statistics category. Players must choose two of 12 Paybacks to give their superstar in-game advantages that could make all the difference in their title reign.

In WWE 2K24 MyRISE Create a Superstar, there are 12 Paybacks available to give your wrestler an extra boost in the ring. Here's the full list of Paybacks you can choose from and what each offers to your superstar.

  • Resiliency: Escape a Pin, Submission, or Elimination Mini-Game with ease. An OVR of 85 and above is required to assign.
  • Low Blow: Slow your opponent down with a Low Blow. Be careful not to get yourself disqualified.
  • Poison Mist: Spray Poison Mist in your opponent's eyes. Be careful not to get yourself disqualified.
  • Power of the Punch: Hit your opponent with brass knuckles. Be careful not to get yourself disqualified.
  • Move Thief: Show up the competition by stealing their Finisher. Requires the opponent to have at least one Finisher stock.
  • Blackout: Teleport behind your opponent to gain an advantage.
  • Rage: Fill the remainder of your Finisher meter to gain your next Finisher stock.
  • Freeze: Temporarily shock and confuse your opponent with a surprising display.
  • Iron Jaw: Immediately recover from being Stunned.
  • Fireball: Scorch your opponent with a ball of flame. Be careful not to get yourself disqualified.
  • Comeback: Inflict persistent damage with strikes for a short period of time. This Payback cannot be used in multi-man matches.

WWE 2K24 MyRISE Create a Superstar: Best Paybacks

The best Paybacks to choose in WWE 2K24 MyRISE Create a Superstar are Rage and Iron Jaw. Rage allows you to quickly fill the remainder of your Finisher meter to gain your next Finisher stock, something that can immediately sway the end of a match. Then, Iron Jaw allows you to recover from being Stunned, which will help you quickly bounce back against even the toughest of opponents.

Once you reach an 85 OVR, you should definitely swap one of your Paybacks for the recently unlocked Resiliency.

Ultimately, though, choosing which Paybacks to activate in WWE 2K24 comes down to personal preference. If you plan on creating the ultimate heel, you might want to enable Power of the Punch or Low Blow to score some dirty wins...just make sure the referee's back is turned.
