WWE 2K24 Covers, Release Date, Trailer

2K Games unveiled the WWE 2K24 cover stars, release date, new features and more on Jan. 22 as the Road to WrestleMania hype continues to build.

Following suit from previous years and other popular trends in the gaming industry today, there are three editions of WWE 2K24. As such, there are three special covers featuring different cover stars on each version. Though, uniquely there is one cover star from this year who appears on multiple covers. Last year, each version of 2K23 featured different eras of John Cena's career. This year, the superstars on the main roster are highlighted alongside a special edition celebrating forty years of WrestleMania.

Here's everything you need to know about the WWE 2K24 news from Jan. 22.

WWE 2K24 Standard Edition Cover, Star, Price

The American Nightmare Cody Rhodes is the cover star of the standard edition of WWE 2K24. The trailer released highlights Cody finishing the story of winning the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship. Cody is the hottest babyface character in professional wrestling/sports entertainment today. In a special vignette released by WWE, Rhodes mentions that being the cover star was a bucket list item for him.

The standard edition will cost $59.99 and $69.99 depending on your platform of choice. There will also be a Cross-Gen edition that costs $69.99 that gives dual, digital entitlement to thg ame within the same console family (PlayStation or Xbox).

WWE 2K24 Deluxe Edition Cover, Stars, Price

The Deluxe Version features two of the most popular superstars in the world today: Bianca Belair and Rhea Ripley. While the standard edition plays up Cody and his journey since returning to WWE, this cover offers a bit more. The dueling aspect of Belair, one of, if not the most popular babyface in the women's division against the most popular heel in Ripley (the current Women's World Champion) looks amazing. The colors, the different poses and the matching fireworks create one of the best covers in the franchise's history.

The Deluxe Edition will cost $99.99 on all available platforms.

WWE 2K24 Forty Years of WrestleMania Cover, Stars, Price

As the most high-end version of the game, the Forty Years of WrestleMania edition features the biggest superstars in the company's history. Belair also appears on this cover making her the only superstar this year to be on the cover of multiple editions. Here's the full list of superstars on the Forty Years of WrestleMania cover:

WWE 2K24 Release Date

WWE 2K24 will release early for Deluxe and Forty Years of WrestleMania purchasers on Tuesday, Mar. 5. The Standard Edition release date is set for three days later on Friday, Mar. 8.
