NBA 2K25 is bringing some incredible basketball action, but even good games sometimes have crazy glitches. A bizarre one in the game's MyCareer Mode is cloning people's created players, leading to some hilarious results.

I've heard of a player being everywhere on the court at once, but this is a little bit much. While players are having some fun with this, the glitch is also affecting player development. The game is sometimes dividing the stats your MyPlayer got between your dopplegangers, which obviously hurts your XP.

A 2K spokesperson has confirmed they're aware of the glitch (how could they not be at this point) and it's being worked on. There's no timeline yet for a fix, but hopefully that comes soon. NBA 2K25 is an excellent game in most areas. I can't imagine MyPlayer being playable until this is fixed. This is kind of the thing that's funny exactly one time, then extremely annoying afterwards.

NBA 2K25 is available now on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch. There are three different versions depending on how much you're into the MyTeam card-collecting mode.

The most expensive version of the game is the Hall of Fame Edition for $149.99. In addition to all the MyTeam and MyCareer bonus, it comes with a subscription to NBA League Pass, the league's streaming service. The premium version of League Pass is $149 by itself, so this is not a bad deal. You'll need to act fast though, this version is only on sale through Sept. 8.
