Madden NFL tries to simulate real football to varying degrees of success. But video games are video games and sometimes things break them. Last year the Peyton Hills "White Rhino" card was so good in MUT, players had a gentleman's agreement to not use it in Madden tournaments.

I used it because I had to do the research! Yeah, he was ridiculous. A glitchy motion in Madden 25 is so bad the Madden Championship Series has already banned its use. Here noted Madden player and content creator Pwny Montana breaks it down:

For these who would rather read than watch, the glitch works like this:

In the Seattle Seahawks playbook, or Spread playbook, you'll need the formation Gun Tackle Over. Use either the play Fake Screen Wheel or Sprint Out Smash. Put your running back on any route, then run your QB the opposite way. Both plays have an auto rollout that a mobile QB can take ridiculous advantage of.

Madden 25's defense is already not in the best state, and it is in no way prepared for this glitch. A mobile signal caller such as Jalen Hurts or Lamar Jackson can easily get 20-30 yards off this run. It's also a great play in the red zone, where those last few yards can sometimes be hard to get.

After you've burned your opponent with this run a couple of times, Pwny Montana suggests mixing it up and actually throwing the pass. Soon your opponent won't know what you're planning to do and rage quits will ensue. I wouldn't be surprised if this gets patched out at some point, and I'll let you know if that happens.

Longtime Madden players will remember Fake Screen Wheel is a repeat offender. It was also one of the most broken plays in Madden 19 until it got nerfed. The more things change...

Seattle's playbook is one of the best in the game, so if you use it this play will only be one of the tools in an already impressive arsenal.
