His primary pitch was a sinker, the most meta pitch in the game, and this is what made the card so devastating. He may not have thrown it very hard, averaging just 93-94 MPH, but with 99 break, his sinker was extremely hard to hit. It also helped he had a cutter, another meta pitch, a slurve, and a change-up.
