Pepe Alazar/Joe Random (MLB 17)

MLB The Show 17 had two very unique cards. They weren’t based on any real players but were unlockable through the Dynasty Program. The first card you got was a 52 overall called Joe Random. Joe Random had horrible stats with 35s across the board for his hitting attributes, 50 fielding, and 60 speed. But once you completed Random’s missions, you would unlock a mystery card.

That card was another fictional player called Pepe Alazar. Alazar, which means ‘Random’ in Spanish, had every single attribute maxed out at 99: hitting, speed, fielding, arm strength, everything was a 99. On top of that, he was a switch-hitter and could play all three outfield positions.
