Part of what we love about college football is the ridiculous plays that defy logic but somehow work. We figured a few of them would find their way into Madden NFL 25, and that's exactly what happened. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have a great one, and here's how it works:

Check out the playbook Gun Bunch Strong Nasty for the play Motion Double Pass. After the snap, the quarterback will throw automatically throw a backwards pass to the outside bunch receiver. The defenders will most likely react to the middle bunch receiver sprinting downfield. You can take off running with the outside bunch receiver for a huge gain.

If the receiver in the middle is open, you can hit him for a big gain. In regs, that is Big Mike Evans. He is a grown man and the momentum he gets on this play can allow him to bowl right into the end zone. Evans has the Double Me X-Factor, which powers up his aggressive catches in single coverage.

Your wide receiver has QB-like passing accuracy on this play for Madden reasons. If the defense fails to cover the deep receiver, you can get a one-play touchdown off this pretty easily. Your opponent will feel like they've been trolled with this one.

Gun Bunch Strong Nasty isn't a bad formation to begin with, so you'll have other tricks to show your opponent from it. The Nasty formations started showing up in Madden a couple of years ago and have quickly developed into a huge part of the meta. Have fun dotting up opponents with Unitas-like passes from your wide receiver.
