The Dodgers are always an expensive collection to complete, with stars like Freddie Freeman and Mookie Betts consistently earning diamond cards year after year. But after the 2023 season ended in disappointment for Los Angeles, they acquired significant reinforcements in free agency, as well as retaining some great players and adding on other players who will return from long-term injuries in 2024.

Shohei Ohtani ended 2023 as the second-highest rated live series card (96 overall), trailing only Ronald Acuna Jr. In 2024, Ohtani, along with fellow free agent signings Yoshinobu Yamamoto, Tyler Glasnow, and Teoscar Hernández will join a Dodgers roster with returning diamonds Clayton Kershaw, Evan Phillips, Freddie Freeman, and Mookie Betts along with other potential diamonds like Walker Buehler, Max Muncy, and Will Smith.
