The Astros have sustained a dynasty for the past few years, and their core of Yordan Alvarez, Jose Altuve, Alex Bregman and Kyle Tucker have consistently garnered strong MLB The Show ratings as a result of their success as a team. Those four players were all diamonds by the end of the year, and were also joined by Justin Verlander, who ended the season as an 85 overall.

With five diamonds on the roster at the end of 2023, the Astros will easily land among the most expensive live series collections. Alvarez and Altuve will likely be rated 90+ overall at the start of MLB The Show 24, and even if Justin Verlander is injured at the start of the season, there are enough top-level players on this roster to make Houston's collection difficult to complete.
