One New MLB The Show Legend For Each Team: National League Central

Chicago Cubs
Carlos Zambrano
The Chicago Cubs are one of baseball’s oldest teams, but one pitcher that would be exciting to bring into the game is Big Z, Carlos Zambrano. Zambrano pitched a dozen big league seasons spanning from 2001 through 2012. 11 of those campaigns were with the Chicago Cubs where he had a 3.60 ERA, 3.98 FIP, and 1.32 WHIP. Zambrano made three All-Star games and received Cy Young votes three different times.
But Zambrano was known for his temper and his bat. He won three Silver Slugger awards. From 2006 through 2009, Zambrano had a .441 slugging percentage. He has the most home runs, and the second most hits and RBIs from any pitcher in the 21st century. Only one pitcher has ever been given an Awards series card for winning a Silver Slugger, and that was Mike Hampton in MLB The Show 21. If any other pitcher were to give a similar card in the future, it would be Zambrano.
