One New MLB The Show Legend For Each Team: National League Central

Albert Pujols
There are very few players MLB The Show fans want back more than Albert Pujols. One of the greatest players to ever play the game, Pujols retired in 2022, which was the last time we saw him in MLB The Show. Pujols has done it all. He was a career .296/.374/.544 batter with a 145 OPS+, is part of the 700 home run club, the 3000 hit club, and a multiple time MVP, winner.
Regardless of what year or stretch of years you use, Pujols’ best card will probably have 120-125 power and contact vs both sides. You can pick any year during his prime for a Retro Finest. It could be one of his three MVP seasons, his Rookie of the Year campaign, his NLCS MVP in 2004, his heroics in the 2011 Postseason, or any of his statistical milestones. He’d easily have 90+ fielding as well given that he was a great defensive first baseman, even into his later years with the LA Angels. Plus he would have some defensive versatility given he played a lot of corner outfield and third base in his early years.
