One New MLB The Show Legend For Each Team: National League Central

Milwaukee Brewers
Cecil Cooper
One of the best players in the MIlwaukee Brewers’ history is first baseman Cecil Cooper. Cooper played 17 years in the big leagues, 11 of which were for the Brewers. He was a career .298/.337/.466 batter with a 121 OPS+. He made five All-Star games, won three Silver Sluggers, as well as two Gold Gloves. While there are plenty of good 1Bs in MLB The Show, Cooper is definitely the most deserving Brewer to be featured next.
Cooper’s best season was easily his 1980 campaign when he batted .352/.387/.539 with 25 homers and a 152 OPS+. He led the league in RBI with 121, as well as total bases with 335. This would be a very well rounded card. He would likely have 120+ contact and 100+ power, but he’d also have 60+ speed as he swiped 17 bases. On top of that, he would have good fielding given he had +8 total zone runs. This card could be an Awards series card as he won both Gold Glove and Silver Slugger, or a Retro Finest card.
