Tampa Bay Rays

Carl Crawford

Carl Crawford was one of the best base runners of the 2000s. He led the league in stolen bases in four of his first five full MLB seasons, and triples three straight seasons in a row. Crawford became one of the best players in the Rays’ history, and when he was still in MLB The Show back in 2016, had a very good card. It would be fun to see him return in MLB The Show 24.

Crawford’s best season was in 2010, which would likely be what a new card would be based on. During that year, he batted .307/.356/.495 with a 135 OPS+. Crawford swiped 47 bases and led the league in triples for a fourth time in a row with 13. On top of that, he hit a career high 19 home runs. Crawford won both a Gold Glove, Silver Slugger, and went to the All-Star game. This would be an awards card for either his Gold Glove or Silver Slugger.
