NBA 2K25 glitch allows any player at any position

Wilt Chamberlain at point guard, Yao Ming at small forward.. yep all this checks out.

I know the league is moving toward positionless basketball, but this is a bit of a stretch. An annoying glitch in NBA 2K25 allows you to sub in any player at any position by using the game's quick sub in bench option.

The preferred cheese strat after that is to sub in all bigs and then repeatedly mash into the paint against helpless smaller players. I heard about someone else unlocking Level 40 Tracy McGrady (a relatively easy task if you win 90 percent of your games) and running him at point guard. This breaks the game really fast, especially if your opponent has an average team.

Somebody likely found this glitch by accident and then the chaos ensued. 2K is surely aware of it by now, but there's no word about a fix yet. Competitive gaming fights a constant battle to keep the cheaters at bay. With the shiny rewards given out in MyTEAM, the temptation to cheat is likely every bit as powerful as the temptation to pull out your credit card. Many players do both.

Do these cheaters feel any better about themselves? Many of them sound like they do over in-game comms. That's not the only powerful cheat in play this NBA 2K25 season either. Despite assurances that zen controllers wouldn't be a thing anymore in NBA 2K, they are apparently still being used and wrecking competitive events.

GameSided's Nathan Cunningham and I agree on this, NBA 2K25 is an excellent game. But these cheats and glitches are a thumb in the eye of an otherwise wonderful experience.
