The Baltimore Orioles were the surprise of the 2023 season winning an AL-best 101 games and the East for the first time since 2014. Fans are excited to see the steps this team takes next, and the young stars are leading the way. Rutschman has quickly become a fan-favorite since being called up in 2022 and he improved immensely in his second season. The switch-hitting catcher basically doubled his RBI total, hit 20 home runs, was an All-Star and Silver Slugger for the first time in his career. Along with the other exciting players in Baltimore like Cedric Mullins, Gunnar Henderson and an expected debut for Jackson Holliday, the Orioles are hoping to improve on an impressive 2023 season.
At the end of MLB The Show 23, Felix Bautista was the highest rated Live Series card for the Orioles, though the relief arm has just been moved to the 60-Day IL. Rutschman is the only other Diamond on the team, and should receive a decent upgrade.
