Sony San Diego Studios officially revealed the MLB The Show 24 cover athlete as Vladimir Guerrero Jr. of the Toronto Blue Jays.

After a period of rumors and discussion surrounding who would be the cover star, it's safe to say Vladdy Jr.'s announcement took some by surprise. Many figured it would be Ronald Acuna Jr. of the Atlanta Braves after his historic 40/70 season, while others would've even taken a reappearance for Shohei Ohtani after signing a historic 10-year, $700 million contract with the Los Angeles Dodgers. Though, still there will be plenty that are excited to Vladdy Jr. get the cover. Not to mention, the cover as a whole looks great.

The reveal stream featured Ramone Russell, David Ortiz and Eladio Carrion traveling in the Dominican Republic before being joined by the Blue Jays player. Check out the cover art below.
