Some of the best MLB players of all time are commemorated in the San Diego Studios video game MLB The Show. Legends including Hank Aaron, Mickey Mantle, Babe Ruth, Tom Seaver, Greg Maddux, and Randy Johnson are all featured in the game. The game has previously showcased other MLB greats like Ted Williams, Yogi Berra, and Ty Cobb. It would be nice if SDS could get their name and likeness rights back for a future game.

But there are some MLB players that you'll likely never see in this game. Maybe they are extremely controversial, or maybe they just won't allow games and media to use their name and likeness outright. Whatever the case may be, there are reasons why you'll likely never see these players in a future MLB The Show game.
