How To Unlock 99 Overall Joe Mauer in MLB The Show 24

Superstar catcher and noted MLB The Show pitchman Joe Mauer's journey has been completed in Cooperstown, as it was always going to. To commemorate the occasion, MLB The Show 24 is giving a free 99 overall for doing an evolution program. Here's how to add the legendary catcher to your squad.

You'll need 50 program points to unlock Mauer and there are several ways to do it through both online and offline play.

The Rewards

5 Points – 91 OVR Rookie Mauer and 5,000 XP

10 Points – MLB The Show pack

15 Points – 500 Stubs

20 Points – 95 OVR All-Star Mauer and 5,000 XP

25 Points – MLB The Show pack (x2)

50 Points – 99 OVR Hall of Fame Mauer and 10,000 XP

These build-your-own super squad modes are a controversial feature in sports games. However, MLB The Show does a good job of ensuring players can field a reasonably competitive squad without emptying their wallets.
