Would you like an 88-speed Tyreek Hill or Night Train Lane for the low, low price of free? Of course, and GameSided is here to tell you how. Hill and Lane have both received powerful 87 overall cards in the AKA program, which celebrates players whose skill has earned them a nickname.

Each week, Madden 25 has given us AKA challenges which grant tokens. Thirty tokens redeemed will allow you to get either player. There's also an AKA Field Pass that offers up some tokens, so you don't need to do all the challenges.

You can also get these players through an in-game exchange. It requires the 84 version of their cards and four other 84 AKA players. This is a program that rewards players who have been grinding, doing a really good job with the marketplace, or both. As I've mentioned, I love to run the ball so I'm going to prioritize my defense and pick up Night Train Lane. I'll probably still do the exchange for Hill, because these are excellent roster upgrades.

We'll get more AKA players as the season goes on, so many players are holding onto their tokens. I'm not going to say they're wrong for doing so. Ultimate Team means each week, we get a card that's incrementally better. There will be a few cards so good they are endgame when they release, but we don't get them in September.

Like real NFL squads, sometimes you get just good enough to win games now knowing you will pick up better players later.
