How EA's FC 25 brings an international flavor to the game's soundtrack

The beautiful game is loved by fans all over the world, and EA wants to bring that same energy with its globe-spanning soundtrack. It offers up a range of genres including Elyanna's Arabic pop Latin fusion and Moonchild Sanelly's future ghetto funk.
FKA Twigs, Ice Spice, and Disclosure also grace the eagerly anticipated soundtrack.
“FC 25 is a global celebration of new music that erases borders, embraces multiple genres, and delivers several surprises,” said Steve Schnur, Worldwide Executive and President of Music for Electronic Arts. “The EA Music team has spent nearly a year curating an epic soundtrack that will define the sound of the coming season and elevate the spirit of the game like never before.”
Spotify is getting in on the fun, as the whole soundtrack is available to stream on its service. This partnership has lasted for three years. Spotify's well aware that the FC series is one of the most popular video games in the world. An estimated 11 million players logged into FC 24 during its first week on the market. Sorry FIFA, not that many people cared what brand was on the box.
“It feels incredible to be featured in such an iconic game," reggaeton star J Balvin said. "Having my music be part of the FC 25 soundtrack and sharing this honor with so many other talented global artists is something I’ll never forget. I can’t wait to experience it all when I play.”
J Balvin's song Gaga is featured in the game. In its New Music Latin Weekly playlist, Billboard calls it a club-ready track that thrives on electronic head-bobbing beats. Sounds like perfect soccer hype music to me!
