Here's Which Promotion is Likely Next After EA FC 24 Team of the Year

EA Sports FC 24 Team of the Year is scheduled to end on Friday, Feb. 2 at 1 p.m. ET. At that time, TOTY cards, TOTY Honorable Mentions and TOTY Icons will leave packs for good.

Team of the Year is very much a make-or-break promotion for many players. Most save packs weeks in advance to prepare for the overall grind. Not packing, or having the coins readily available to buy the best players in the game makes the overall enjoyment factor go down heavily. Though, hardcore fans who keep playing through the January promotion usually know the most popular promotion of the year comes shortly after.

So, with no current in-game messaging yet from EA Sports announcing what's to come, here's what's most likely following TOTY in FC 24.

Here's Which Promotion is Likely Next After EA FC 24 Team of the Year

The next promotion is most likely going to be Future Stars. There is the possibility that there's a buffer promotion in-between TOTY and Future Stars as well.

Last year, FUT Centurions debuted in FIFA 23. That promotion, though, has already happened in FC 24. If EA Sports wants to continue to capitalize on the player base's interest in the game, kicking off Future Stars as soon as possible will be a big step forward.

Future Stars highlights the best up-and-coming young players from around the world. Current stars that have previously been featured in Future Stars since its debut in FIFA 19 include:

• Erling Haaland
• Jamal Musiala
• Julian Alvarez
• Jude Bellingham
• Ibrahima Konate
• William Saliba

This year will be interesting to see who will be included this year, with Alejandro Garnacho likely to headline one of the two expected promotional teams. As well, EA Sports could release special Flashback SBCs celebrating players who have previously featured during Future Stars.
