Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero Roster: First 24 Characters Revealed

The first 24 characters for Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero have been revealed by Bandai Namco building excitement for the sequel to the Budokai Tenkaichi franchise.

"So it begins: prepare yourselves for an electrifying journey into the world of martial arts, intense battles, and unimaginable power as we unveil the first 24 characters set to take center stage in Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero," Bandai Namco said in the announcement. The trailer posted to Bandai Namco's official X account showcased the iconic, first battle between Goku and Vegeta on Earth. As the trailer plays out, Goku and Vegeta's future battles are played out showcasing both characters power up to their other forms.

Players will also notice other characters are showcased on the ending grid like Frieza, Cell, Piccolo, Tien, Yamcha, Trunks and more. From the announcement, it appears each character will have unique selections for their many forms. Hopefully the character move set is diverse to match the number of forms certain characters will have. Having multiple forms of Goku from a similar era with similar moves makes sense, but Goku should have different moves from early in Z compared to his Super forms.
