College Football 25 Aug. 29 patch updates toughest places to play
By Brian Allen
One of the many things players love about EA Sports College Football is how it captures the feeling of walking into hostile territory as a young college athlete. You can't hear well enough to call audibles. If a player's composure rating is low enough, the moment might be too big for them. But if you have a battle-tested senior quarterback calling the plays, then everything could be fine.
I talk more about the composure mechanic and how it works in this piece. Don't even get me started on the effects composure (or the lack thereof) has on the already difficult kicking meter.
In addition to that, College Football 25 keeps track of toughest places to play in the sport. According to EA, factors that determine a team's standing on this list include home winning percentage, home game attendance, active home winning streaks, and team prestige.
The first ranking of the season put Texas A&M's Kyle Field at the top of the list, and that caused a fair amount of raised eyebrows. The Aug. 29 patch that updated a lot of things changed this list as well. Now LSU's Tiger Stadium sits atop the list, and that sounds way better.
Full disclosure: I did attend LSU - Shreveport. But I've been to Baton Rouge, and game days there are something you have to see to believe. LSU at the top of these rankings just makes sense.
