Mytheos Holt has a long track record of experience publishing on video game related issues, especially those relating to the politics of video gaming. He first began writing on the subject for TheBlaze.com, where his review of Bioshock Infinite earned plaudits from Penny Arcade, Misfit Politics and Mic, as well as a personal thank you email from the game's creator for its balance. Since then, he has defended the idea of video games as a form of speech that should be free of government regulation at the R St Institute, and pushed back on the idea that video games cause violence/sexism in right-leaning outlets such as TheBlaze, Townhall and NakedDC. He has been playing video games since he first received a copy of "Donkey Kong Country" on Super Nintendo at the age of 7. He lives in Arlington, VA.
