#5 – Tales of Monkey Island
Taking over theMonkey Islandseries was an incredible opportunity forTelltale Gamesand one that they embraced with open arms. The fifth iteration in the series was able to live up to the massive expectations that were set for it.
Filled with hilarious writing, clever (and occasionally mind-numbing) puzzles and a unique graphical style,Tales of Monkey Islandwas one of the most successfulTelltale Gamesprojects at the time of release.
Delivering with such high quality in a series like this surely benefited the company in the long run. It wasn’t long beforeTelltalegot involved with big names in the entertainment industry, and this game was an important step towards those future successes.
