The Covenant’s Sending Their Best Fighter To The Killer Instinct Arena.

The Arbiter has been revealed as a playable character coming to Killer Instinct, available next month with the release of the game’s “Season Three” package. The inclusion of this fighter, one of the Halo franchise’s most infamous enemies, was hinted at back in January with a short teaser, but a full trailer was released today to confirm the news.

As the trailer shows, the Arbiter is a pretty damn good fighter, making use of all of his classic moves that we’ve come to experience in Halo games. The trailer also shows off a new map, which is set in one of the levels from last year’s Halo 5: Guardians. Considering that both games are Microsoft exclusives, it’s not surprising to see this kind of a cross-over between two of their biggest franchises.

Killer Instinct‘s Season Three is set to release on March 10th for Xbox One and Windows PC,  and will expand on the already large fighting roster to a game that originally launched with the Xbox One back in 2013.

Other announced additions include fan favorites such as Kim Wu and Tusk, plus new characters like Battletoad‘s Rash. Whilst the game is essentially free-to-play, gamers will have to pay up a little more if they want to use these characters come March 10th.
