More Hints Surface For Rumored Bioshock Collection
By Alex Avard
We may be hearing an announcement very soon…
The Brazil Advisory Rating Board has rated Bioshock: The Collection for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, adding fuel to the fire that such a game may be in development.
According to this news, the game will include the original Bioshock, Bioshock 2 and Bioshock Infinite. One might presume that all related downloadable content, such as Infinite‘s “Burial At Sea” expansion, would be included with the package as well.
The news is the latest in a long line of rumors surrounding the fabled title, beginning last September when a South African retailer listed the game for a November 2015 release on PlayStation platforms.
No official word has yet been given from 2K about the supposed title, so any details on the development team or remastering the games has been given.
That said, 2K has released multiple versions of their acclaimed franchise before, the last one being a Linux port for Bioshock Infinite in December 2014, and so it wouldn’t be surprising for the company to offer an upgraded package of the three games to PS4 and Xbox One owners.
Until then, however, we can only speculate, but be sure to head to GameSided for any news that might surface.
