The NFC Championship Game

Seattle Seahawks (48) at Green Bay Packers (14)

This was a rematch of a Week 2 game in which the Packers won fairly easily. The result, this time, was quite different. Seattle made this one a laugher from the very beginning, scoring touchdowns on their first three possessions and opening up a 21-0 first quarter lead.

Green Bay never found their footing after that, and a bunch of turnovers in the second quarter didn’t help. This one was over before the Seahawks took their 34-0 lead into halftime.

The third quarter started out much like the first half went. A Green Bay turnover extended Seattle’s lead to 41, and the fans began pouring out the exits.

The Packers put together two long scoring drives in the fourth quarter, but it was way-too-little, way-too-late. The 82-yard TD run by Seattle’s Christine Michael with 2:44 remaining was just the cherry on top of a tremendous Sunday for the Seattle Seahawks.

Despite entering the playoffs as the #6 seed, the Seattle Seahawks are headed to their third-straight Super Bowl.
