The 50 Best Star Wars Games Of All Time
By Fraser G.
#12 – LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga
Developer: Traveller’s Tales
Publisher: LucasArts
Release Date: November 6, 2007
We’ve decided to include both of the original LEGO Star Wars games in this list in the form of the Complete Saga compilation that was released in 2007. LEGO Star Wars was a major catalyst for the LEGO brand of gaming as it subsequently exploded in popularity following the release of LEGO Star Wars: The Video Game in 2005.
Despite the game’s easy nature and childish appeal to families and kids, die-hard gamers still found entertainment in its ability to provide copious amounts of sheer fun, while its collectible elements offered longevity.
Both LEGO Star Wars games were filled to the brim with a vast range of Star Wars characters, and by incorporating clever ways to encourage replayability, the game rarely became tiresome. With co-op play for up to four players and the addition of online multiplayer with the Complete Saga package, LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga is one of the best Star Wars games of all time.
