#28 – Star Wars Rogue Squadron III: Rebel Strike
Developer: Factor 5
Publisher: LucasArts
Release Date: October 15, 2003
The third and final installment in the Rogue Squadron franchise, Rebel Strike was the most ambitious yet, offering ground battles for the first time as well as the much-requested addition of co-operative play.
Rebel Strike retained the popular missions from Rogue Squadron II: Rogue Leader in its co-op mode, while adding new, ambitious level concepts of its own for its single player campaign.
While Rebel Strike was another excellent game in the franchise, it’s also seen as the worst of the three, and its failings were due to its uninspired level design and overly ambitious nature, as the new on-foot battles failed to impress.
