#29 – Star Wars Episode I: Battle For Naboo
Developer: LucasArts, Factor 5
Publisher: LucasArts
Release Date: December 14, 2000
Battle For Naboo released for the N64 and PC in late 2000, emerging as an unexpected highlight in the process. Set within a brand new story campaign, the game also concluded with the famous Battle Of Naboo from Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace.
Featuring excellent aerial gameplay and a fantastic storyline, Battle For Naboo captivated critics. The PC port fared much worse, however, due to its poor quality transfer and horrendous graphics.
Battle For Naboo is somewhat of a spiritual successor to Star Wars: Rogue Squadron, which went on to become one of the most famous Star Wars game series of all time.
