Released in 2001, Galactic Battlegrounds shared many similarities with other popular RTS titles of the time such as Age Of Empires and Command And Conquer.
Offering a range of playable factions including Gungans, Wookies and the Trade Federation, each faction had its own story campaign, while later expansion packs were released to add even more.
Utilizing the same engine as Age Of Empires II, Galactic Battlegrounds was fairly well received, scoring a 75/100 rating on Metacritic.
