#50 – Star Wars: The New Droid Army

Developer: Helixe

Publisher: THQ

Release Date: November 14, 2002

Sneaking onto our list is The New Droid Army, a Game Boy Advance exclusive released in late 2002 as a tie-in to Star Wars Episode II: Attack Of The Clones. The New Droid Army put players in control of a teenage Anakin Skywalker through a unique storyline.

Presented in an isometric format, the game allowed players to take advantage of Anakin’s lightsaber and force abilities as they made their way through the campaign.

Although the GameBoy Advance failed to produce any Star Wars games that left a lasting impression, The New Droid Army earned plaudits for its graphical features, engaging story, and fast-paced combat.
