The 50 Best Star Wars Games Of All Time

#36 – Star Wars Jedi Knight: Mysteries Of The Sith
Developer: LucasArts
Publisher: LucasArts
Release Date: January 31, 1998
Our lowest ranking title from the Jedi Knight series is a little unfairly singled out, as it was actually an expansion pack to Jedi Knight: Dark Forces II. Mysteries Of The Sith included a brand-new single-player mission along with fifteen multiplayer maps, with the story being set five years after the events of Dark Forces II.
The game, which required the Dark Forces II CD-ROM to start, introduced graphical upgrades in addition to AI improvements, the latter of which were criticized in the preceding game. While Mysteries Of The Sith offered gamers an interesting new story to play through, there were a few criticisms which mainly centered around an uneven single-player experience and occasionally poor graphical features.
It speaks volumes of the high standards that were set by the Jedi Knight series that this game is our lowest ranked of the series, as it was still very well received by gamers and critics alike.
