#37 – Star Wars Battlefront: Renegade Squadron
Developer: LucasArts
Publisher: LucasArts
Release Date: November 19, 2002
Following the success of Star Wars Battlefront I and II, Renegade Squadron was the first title in the series to hit the PSP, and the only PSP-exclusive title on our list.
After a lukewarm reception to Battlefront II’s appearance on PSP, Renegade Squadron fared better, with critics praising the game’s multiplayer and online play. Unfortunately, the game featured a lackluster single-player campaign, as well as poor graphics and an awkward control system.
The game sold in high numbers for a PSP game, going on to be re-released as a Greatest Hits title.
