PSX 2015: Ni No Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom Announced

, Level-5 took the stage to announce Ni No Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom exclusively for the PlayStation 4. They made the announcement with a gorgeous trailer that, while it doesn’t show any gameplay, showcases the adorable art style and bright personality of the title. Take a look:
Ni no Kuni II will tell the story of Evan, a boy king who, when overthrown by a coup, must fight to take his rightful place as ruler over the Ni no Kuni. He is assisted by a visitor from another world, and will also encounter powerful, protective guardians who have been corrupted somehow and are wreaking havoc in the kingdom. Presumably like the other Ni no Kuni titles it will be an open-world RPG with quests and familiars who can be tamed and used in battle.
There is no release date yet for Ni no Kuni II, but we know it will be a PS4 exclusive. Hopefully we can look forward to seeing it sometime in 2016.
