46 – Pokemon Dash (Nintendo DS)

The one and only Pokemon racing game, Pokemon Dash actually includes an impressive amount of content, with hundreds of courses and five different cups. It also features an impressive multiplayer mode and compatibility with the Game Boy Advance Pokemon titles–putting one of the GBA games into the slot on the DS would allow the player to race on courses shaped like Pokemon in your party in those games. All of this is overshadowed by the fact that Pokemon Dash was just…really boring. You race Pikachu by sliding the stylus across the touch screen in the direction you want to go…and that’s it. No other variety to Pokemon Dash. Playing for long periods of time resulted in hand cramps, making Pokemon Dash a literal pain to get through.
