Los Angeles Kings
Despite a slow start, the Kings found their momentum and raced to third place in the Pacific Division, putting their woes from last year aside. Anže Kopitar was the star of the show, finishing on 62 points. The top goalscorer for the Kings was Marián Gáborík, who finished on 25 goals for the season, yet Jeff Carter, Milan Lucic, and Dustin Brown weren’t far behind him.
The first line of defense had an excellent year, as Drew Doughty grabbed 44 assists for the season, while Jake Muzzin finished with 13 goals. Christian Ehrhoff had a reasonable first season in LA too, scoring 6 and assisting 11.
Jonathan Quick had another impressive year in net, averaging at just over 2 GAA with a .923 Sv%, while backup Enroth also had a good showing.
