Calgary Flames
After a surprising 2014/15 season, the Flames continued to impress. They leaped into second position in the Pacific Division, just one point behind the Ducks with a total of 99 points. New acquisition Michael Frolík was the star man for the Flames, scoring 55 points for the season, while Sean Monahan finished with 25 goals and Dennis Wideman led the team in assists.
The Flames’ depth was apparent throughout the season, with eleven players scoring 30 points or more over the course of the year.
Dougie Hamilton had an excellent season in defense, while Karri Rämö and Jonas Hiller shared goaltending duties, with Rämö coming away with the best performance of the two, finishing with a 2.100 GAA and .919 SV%.
