New York Rangers

Despite the departures of Martin St. Louis and Carl Hagelin, Alain Vigneault’s men stormed to first place in another successful year for the Rangers, thanks in particular to Rick Nash, Derek Stepan, and Chris Kreider. Nash finished with 40 goals, while Kreider led the team in assists with 51.

On defense, Keith Yandle and Ryan McDonagh had excellent seasons, while Marc Staal also impressed.

Henrik Lundqvist had an excellent season in net with a GAA of 2.110 and a SV% of .931. Raanta leaked goals when he was called upon, but the offensive prowess of the Rangers meant that he still managed to rack up a high number of wins over the course of the season as the Rangers topped the Eastern Conference.
